Tedeon is the father of Sean and thus an adult Fire Dragon. This has been the first dragon Sam met up with and one with which he shares the closest friendship. They both are what is called Ambassadors. As a sign for this Sam wears the Xendron Crystal Tedeon gave him. Every dragon is able to identify him as an Ambassador and thus as a reliable and friendly towards them. If you do not have such a identification with you dragons will just keep concealed from you. It is an old trick they got to use back then in past times to have a more peacefull live. In alpha-9 though there is no more need for this because humans did not venture there yet. Both are a representative beeing for for their kind towards the kind of their partner. Thus Sam and Tedeon are like a linking piece between both species. A lot of those Partnerships exist and the dragons own a lot of those connections to a variety of other species around the Xendron. That has been one of the many things that impressed Sam about them. Such Partners also have the duty to negotiate if their should arrise a problem between their kinds. Fortunatly with humans this is no problem because they consider them non existant. It is always nice if nobody is looking for you.

Tedeon is a so called Portal Guard. This is a special profession that can only be conducted by Fire Dragons due to their natural talent to deal with Xendron Energy. As a Portal Guard it is his duty to maintain and observe the Xendron Portals in the world where he is located in. Because also dragons like to have some spare time in one world more than one Portal Guard is on duty. Like this one Portal Guard works at a portal for a couple of weeks and then another one takes over the shift. Maintaining Xendron Portals is not that easy. The used Crystals erode quickly and need to be replaced or fixed from time to time. A portal with defect Crystal can work but only in a limited fashion. Tedeon belongs to the group that is occupied to work with the portals in the world of Sam and Georgo. That is also why Sam met up with him in the first place. That he is taking with him his offspring to work is not very common but because he is one of the closest friends of the Lord of Dragons himself nobody really cares.

Tedeon has learned as Portal Guard to stay out of the field of view of curious people. Thus it is not that surprising that he knows a lot about stealth. He has also a good sense for diplomacy because Portal Guards are required to be able to deal with delicate situations. Due to his partnership with Sam he knows more about technic than Sean does. He is even trained to use some special devices Sam constructed for him. On Team Missions he usually stays back to take care of the Xendron Portal so they can travel quickly if there is need for it. But more than not he also takes part in missions himself. Especially operations over enemy territory where mechanical flight devices are easy to spot but organicals are not he is asked for. He has also took care of (literally) bigger troubles with his strength already.

As a dragon Tedeon comes along unequiped. During missions he wears a Spacial Transmitter, some kind of communication device, and a NeckPack to collect things along the way.
